Where Can I Find Forex Price Predictions?

AAFX publishes dedicated long-term price predictions for EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, AUD/USD, USD/CAD and USD/CHF. Open the pair links below to review the author’s dated assumptions, chart analysis and conditional scenarios. This directory explains the drivers; it does not provide live prices or a current trade signal.

Which Forex Price Prediction Pages Are Available?

AAFX treats a forecast as a conditional view, not a promise. The table below identifies the published long-term forecasts and the main drivers to examine. NZD/USD and EUR/GBP currently have explanatory hub summaries. Consult each dedicated page for its actual horizon, review date and invalidation conditions.

What Drives Each Major Forex Pair?

EUR/USD forecast

EUR/USD reflects relative euro-area and US policy expectations, growth and capital flows. Price structure can confirm or challenge the macro view. See the full 2026, 2027 and 2030 EUR/USD forecast.

GBP/USD forecast

The pound has a mixed setup. Sticky UK inflation can support sterling through higher rate expectations, but weak growth or a stronger US yield curve can reverse that support quickly. AAFX favors confirmation from price structure before treating either side of the range as a durable trend.

Read the full GBP/USD forecast for 2026, 2027 and 2030 for dated levels, Fed–BoE drivers and conditional scenarios.

USD/JPY forecast

USD/JPY is most sensitive to the US-Japan yield spread. Firm Treasury yields generally support the pair, but Bank of Japan normalization signals and intervention risk can create sharp reversals. Traders should use smaller position sizes around policy meetings and official commentary.

AUD/USD forecast

AUD/USD remains closely linked to global risk appetite, China-sensitive demand and commodity prices. The pair is vulnerable when the US dollar and US yields rise together. A stronger outlook requires both improving risk sentiment and a technical reclaim of prior resistance.

NZD/USD forecast

NZD/USD responds to relative RBNZ-Fed policy expectations, domestic inflation, global growth and risk appetite. Assess changes against what markets had expected. This is an explanatory summary; a dedicated long-term forecast is not yet listed here.

USD/CAD forecast

USD/CAD can split from the broader dollar trend when oil prices move sharply. Rising crude can support the Canadian dollar, while weaker oil and dovish Bank of Canada repricing can favor USD/CAD gains. The pair is best read with oil, North American data and relative rate expectations together.

USD/CHF forecast

USD/CHF reflects both policy divergence and safe-haven flows. Risk aversion may support both currencies, which can mute directional follow-through. The cleaner signal often comes when SNB guidance, US yields and equity-market volatility point in the same direction.

EUR/GBP forecast

EUR/GBP is primarily a relative-policy trade. A wider expected advantage for the Bank of England can pressure the cross, while weaker UK data or relatively firmer ECB expectations can lift it. Range strategies remain more appropriate until macro repricing creates a decisive break.

Which Forex Pairs Are Most Sensitive to Interest Rates?

USD/JPY is usually the clearest major-pair expression of yield-spread changes because Japan has historically maintained lower policy rates than the United States. EUR/USD and GBP/USD are also highly sensitive to changes in expected Fed, ECB and Bank of England policy. AUD/USD and NZD/USD add a stronger global-growth and risk-sentiment component, while USD/CAD can be pulled away from rate differentials by large oil moves.

A policy decision matters through its surprise relative to expectations and the subsequent expected rate path. Markets often move before a meeting as expectations change, then reverse if the final decision was already priced in.

How Does AAFX Build Forex Forecasts?

Our process combines fundamental, technical and scenario analysis. No single indicator controls the forecast.

  1. Central-bank policy: We compare current policy rates, guidance and the market-implied path for the Fed, ECB, BoE, BoJ, RBA, RBNZ, BoC and SNB.
  2. Macro conditions: Inflation, employment, growth, trade balances and fiscal risk help explain whether a currency has a durable fundamental advantage.
  3. Yield and capital flows: Two-year and ten-year government bond spreads help test whether price action agrees with the policy story.
  4. Technical structure: Trend, support, resistance, momentum and invalidation levels turn a broad macro view into a decision framework.
  5. Scenario ranges: Base, bull and bear cases express uncertainty more honestly than a single exact target.
  6. Review triggers: Forecasts are revisited after major policy decisions, material data surprises or decisive technical breaks.

What Can Change a Forex Forecast?

A forecast should change when the evidence changes. The fastest triggers are unexpected central-bank action, inflation or labor data far from consensus, geopolitical shocks, sudden commodity moves and breaks of major technical levels. For example, a sustained break beyond a forecast’s stated invalidation level accompanied by a shift in relative policy expectations would require reassessment.

Risk note: These forecasts are editorial market analysis, not personalized investment advice or guaranteed trade signals. Forex and CFD prices can move rapidly, leverage magnifies losses, and an invalidation level can be crossed before an order is filled.

Which Primary Sources Support This Outlook?

Forex Forecast FAQs

What is a forex forecast?

A forex forecast is a conditional estimate of how one currency may perform against another over a defined period. It combines macroeconomic drivers, policy expectations and technical price structure.

Which forex pair is easiest to forecast?

No currency pair is consistently easy to forecast. EUR/USD is often the most researched and liquid, while USD/JPY can respond clearly to yield spreads, but both can move sharply when expectations change.

How accurate are forex forecasts?

Accuracy varies by horizon and market regime. Forecasts work best as scenario maps with invalidation conditions, not as guarantees of one exact future price.

What drives currency prices most?

Interest-rate expectations, inflation, economic growth, capital flows, political risk, commodities and risk sentiment are the main drivers. Their relative importance changes over time.

How often should forex forecasts be updated?

They should be reviewed after major central-bank decisions, material data surprises, geopolitical shocks and decisive breaks of support or resistance.

What is the difference between a short-term and long-term forex forecast?

A short-term forecast focuses on days or weeks and relies more on positioning, catalysts and technical levels. A long-term forecast covers months or years and gives more weight to policy cycles, inflation and structural growth.

How do interest rates affect forex?

Higher expected returns can attract capital and support a currency, but only relative to expectations for the other currency in the pair. Markets often move on the expected path rather than the current rate alone.

Are technical or fundamental forex forecasts better?

They answer different questions. Fundamentals explain why a currency may have an advantage, while technicals show where the market confirms or rejects that view.

Can a forex forecast predict an exact price?

No. Exact targets are estimates, not certainties. A range with bull, base and bear cases is more useful because it makes uncertainty and invalidation explicit.

How should beginners use forex forecasts?

Use them to identify the main drivers, key levels and events to watch. Avoid copying a directional label without a risk limit, position-size plan and a clear condition that proves the view wrong.

Where should I check the US dollar outlook?

There is no permanent one-way dollar outlook. Compare the latest dated pair forecasts with relative policy expectations, incoming data and yield changes. This directory provides research links rather than a live dollar signal.
