Dogecoin Price Holds $0.070 as 4 Bullish Signals Hint at Potential Market Rebound

Dogecoin price remains above $0.070 as bullish technical indicators and improving derivatives data suggest weakening selling pressure and recovery potential.

Bullish Sentiment Builds in DOGE

Dogecoin (DOGE) continued to trade near $0.070 on Tuesday after recording a 3.5% weekly decline, showing resilience despite broader weakness across the cryptocurrency market. While the meme-inspired digital asset remains within a bearish technical framework, several market indicators now point to fading downside momentum.

Investor positioning in the derivatives market has improved notably over recent sessions, while technical momentum indicators are beginning to diverge from price action. Together, these developments suggest that sellers may be losing control, increasing the possibility of a short-term recovery if buyers successfully defend current support levels.

The broader trend has not yet shifted in favor of bulls, but improving market sentiment is encouraging traders to closely monitor Dogecoin’s next move.

Derivatives Market Signals Optimism

Recent derivatives data indicates that traders are becoming increasingly confident about Dogecoin’s near-term outlook. According to market statistics, the long-to-short ratio climbed to 1.25, marking its strongest reading in more than one month. A ratio above 1.0 means bullish positions outnumber bearish bets, reflecting growing expectations for higher prices.

Another positive development comes from the perpetual futures market, where Dogecoin’s funding rate remained positive at 0.0074% after turning positive on July 24. Positive funding generally indicates that traders holding long positions are willing to pay premiums to maintain bullish exposure, a sign of strengthening market confidence.

Key bullish indicators include:

  • Long-to-short ratio increased to 1.25, the highest level in over a month.
  • Funding rate remains positive at 0.0074%, signaling healthy demand.
  • Long traders continue paying short sellers, reflecting optimistic positioning.
  • Derivatives activity suggests improving confidence despite recent price weakness.

Although derivatives metrics alone cannot guarantee a price rally, they often provide an early indication of changing market sentiment before it becomes visible in spot prices.

Key Price Levels to Watch

From a technical perspective, Dogecoin continues to trade below its major trend indicators, keeping the broader outlook cautious. The 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) remain positioned near $0.075, $0.083, and $0.100, respectively, creating several resistance barriers that buyers must overcome.

However, momentum indicators present a more constructive picture. Dogecoin recently established a lower price low while the Relative Strength Index (RSI) formed a higher low, creating a classic bullish divergence. This pattern frequently signals weakening selling momentum and can precede a trend reversal when confirmed by stronger buying activity.

The Awesome Oscillator reinforces this observation, as its recent lows have gradually risen even while the token continues trading close to its yearly lows. This divergence suggests bearish momentum is fading.

Immediate support remains firmly positioned at $0.070. A break below this level would expose the annual low around $0.067, with additional downside risk extending toward the psychological $0.065 mark.

On the upside, Dogecoin must first reclaim $0.075, followed by resistance near $0.080, $0.083, and $0.088. A sustained rally above the 200-day EMA at $0.100, together with a move beyond $0.102, would significantly strengthen the bullish case and improve the cryptocurrency’s longer-term technical outlook.
