The Hyperlane protocol has confirmed its token generation event (TGE) will take place on April 22, 2025, accompanied by one of the largest airdrops this year. Built as a modular interoperability protocol, Hyperlane empowers developers to connect blockchains seamlessly. Its debut token, HYPER, will play a central role in ecosystem governance and utility.
A total of 1 billion HYPER tokens will be issued. Notably, 57% of the supply is designated for the community, signaling a strong emphasis on decentralization. Here’s the token breakdown:
- 7.5% allocated for the airdrop
- 25% for the core team (12-month lock)
- 10.9% for early investors (12-month lock)
- 7.1% held in the foundation treasury
Airdrop registration is open from April 3 to April 14, 2025 (3:59 AM UTC). Token claims can be made between April 20 and May 6, setting the stage for a highly anticipated market debut.
Who Can Claim the HYPER Airdrop?
Eligibility is centered on active platform engagement. According to Hyperlane’s official guidelines, those eligible fall into two categories:
- Users in the top 37% of fee spenders on Hyperlane
- Developers who deployed apps or contracts incurring at least $5 in notional fees
To verify eligibility, participants should:
- Visit: claim.hyperlane.foundation
- Enter an EVM or SVM wallet address
- Check real-time eligibility status
- If approved, click “Register Now” to confirm their claim
Regional restrictions apply. Countries like Russia, North Korea, Cuba, and Iraq are excluded, though U.S. residents can participate.
This selective model is designed to reward genuine users while ensuring a fair token launch process.
What Price Will HYPER Trade at Launch?
While the official listing price remains undisclosed, market analysts estimate HYPER could debut between $0.50 and $2.00, depending on several factors:
- Initial circulating supply
- Exchange listings
- User demand post-airdrop
- Overall crypto market sentiment
If the token launches at $1, Hyperlane would reflect a $1 billion fully diluted valuation (FDV). However, volatility around new listings, combined with the large airdrop distribution, could drive sharp price swings.
The crypto community is now watching closely as Hyperlane prepares to activate its token economy and reward early ecosystem participants.
